Why Would I Make A Good Sysop: well for startes i love to help people.
I have people skills and i have been helping in chatrooms for a couple of years so in the help departement i am experienced and I enjoy doing it.
I have aloso been oper at another server for a couple of months where i have learned some oper commands etc so there too i have experience.
I sit in front of the computer often so I am able to check whats going on on the server and hopefully prevent users from abusing the server, services or any users.

Yes, I would. IRC Background: I've been with IRC for around 3 years now. I used to chat on the MSN Chat servers until they decided they would shut down. I now hover on servers such as irc.publicservicesonline.com and anyones that has something to do with mIRC scripting.

Sysop Elsewhere: I used to run my own server but that was last year and I stopped running it because my computer fan was too noisy.

Why Would I Make A Good Sysop: I would make a good SysOP because I know a lot about mIRC and servers. 95% of the time if someone has a problem with mIRC I can solve it. I also work very well both in a team and individually.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate his skills as being 10. I only know verry little IRCD myself but I have seen some of the scripts that he has written. He has shown me a script he wrote called Logical 4, it looks very detailed and complicating, but I have seen what he is capable of and I have to say, that I am impressed

I think that Radar is more than capable to decipher the difference between a network issue and a channel issue. If I was to rate is out of 10, I'd give him a 9.5. When I was learning the fundementals of IRC I came into many problems, but when I showed them to Radar, he was instantly able to spot the problem. I owe a great det to Radar.

I have know Radar for almost 4 years now. We met at our high school. Once I found out that he liked Information Technology as much as I did, we have worked on many projects together. He great working in a Team and his communication abilitys are more than great.

4: Would you, if given the chance, bring Radar on as a Staff member on your network? In one sentence, explain why, or why not.
In an instant, Radar is a reliable person who will commit himself 110% to the job at hand. I have been impressed with the amount of information that he has learnt and how he has applied those skills to his IRC scripts. He is a natural at it and he is excellent person to have on your staff. Sorry Ive gone over the one sentence limit, but I'll write that sentence below.

"Radar is more than capable at working in a team, he is a godsend when it comes to IRC scripting and Network/Chat related issues, He has the skills to become one of the leading pioneers of IRC scripting in our community, and perhaps, even in your community."

IRC Background: Started around 1998 on MSN, slowly progressed with experience and became noticed on the eXtreme Team and started helping people out in the mIRC section on there, progressed onto the 12stones server early in 2003 and have a 7/8 rating (I think) of experience

Why Would I Make A Good Sysop: I find its probably the only server I visit these days, I know most of the people fairly well, and I think that being a Sysop is based more on friendliness then knowledge at most times.

He knows quite a bit about being a user, i would say 9, but would have to do a bit of reading for the Services commands etc

I dont think he would have any problems, hes level headed and im sure he would acknowledge his mistake even if he did intefer with channel issues.

Honestly I am not sure.  He seems to have a very good grasp of whats going on and I say that from watching him converse in the channel with other ppl.  Quite often, he picks up things that others do incorrectly.  If I had to scale it perhaps a 8 or 9 would be correct, taking into account I have no real knowledge of IRCd myself.  Others seem to look to him for advice and I always refer ppl to him for assistance if I am the only one talking in the channel and someone comes for help.  He also has done a IRC tutorial which has been added to other sites and forums for to help ppl.

I would say about a 8.

Well, I first took note of him when i joined the xt forum in August last year.  We first spoke together in October.  I didnt like him initially, but had noticed he was quite active on the forum and after a little while, we became good mates.  He was the first person other than Exile of course to offer me assistance, even tho we didnt see eye to eye on some topics, he offered a hand via pm.  I think that shows a true mark of someone's maturity. He also has never treated me like an idiot when helping me.

4: Would you, if given the chance, bring Baralai on as a Staff member on your network? In one sentence, explain why, or why not.
I dont have a network, but I have a forum which he is Admin on and I have a group, which if he was interested in I would appoint him as Manager.  I trust him completely in that regard.  If you are loyal and give him a go, he gives amazing loyalty in return.

Yes i would as he gives people a fair go, he helps everyone alot and trys to help as fast as he can.

He has taught me everything i no so far about computers and he is getting better everyday. If i had to choose someone to be a staff member of my network it would be Baralai with no doubt or second thoughts about it.

I would say he'd be about a 6 or 7. He's fairly new to ircd but he is like a sponge and learns quickly.

IRC Background: Spent many years on msn. mostly as a chatter i only briefly got into scripting but continued to like chatting. i have been visiting the pso server since september and have gotten used to the general workings of these servers.
