how come loon's banner says yahoo did it ?
Because the original xt banner was made by Yahoo... and I never bothered to change the footer in the database (changing the image takes a second... the text footer takes considerably longer, and is a lot more annoying).
Since the banner is going to be changing weekly anyway, I think I'll just remove the footer and let it run.
changing it as the xt forum changes theirs is a nice idea night ! 🙂
Well right now, it just pulls the banner automatically (well, when I tell it to... but it changes the URL on it's own).
I was considering offering xt a banner rotator system so they could add all the "submitted banners" to the rotator, and have a random one pop up with each page load... but since it became a contest of sorts, it would kinda defeat the purpose.

Freak has made something like that, it produces a random png file, so you can use it with [img] etc
I had one set up for them, but never got around to offering it, since it became a contest of sorts...
It's still here and available if they want it...
