Okay, all I'm wondering is why you kill users if your server doesn't resolve their hostname is this for security reasons or to help prevent as much harm being done during a dos/ddos attack as possible?
Thanks,
RuffRyders.
Because most floodbots will run with false (or spoofed) IP addresses. These addresses will not resolve to a proper DNS, so they will not be able to connect and take down rooms.
So yes, it's for the security of the server.
If you shoot me a mail with the IP addy, I'll bypass you.
I'm not sure it would help seeing as my ip address is dynamic , but thank you :D.
