Anyone who doesn't agree with Ziggy must just be stupid? WTF? he's a better coder, and knows more about IRC than everyone else?!?!
This is said while David is in the room, stating that Ziggy is incorrect about MSN.
This is while I try to correct his statement that MSN does not have a CREATE command.
This is when I point out that all Ziggy's precious "iS" server does is open sockets and listen for a connect. How difficult.. if only that had not been coded as a mIRC addon 4 years ago (even with services and a built-in eggdrop). Oh wait... someone did do that. Hm... isn't that the basis behind... oh, what was it called... oh yeah, IRCXPro (and it's predecessor, IRCPlus)? We all know how rock-tight stable those are...
I don't know who's the stupidity magnet... DMQ, or the people she latches onto... can someone help me out here and let me know which it is?
Just like you said Scott;
that's like saying that /kill doesn't exist because tulip can't issue the command here.
If someone doesn't have the right privlages to perform a certain command on a certain server, does not mean the command does not exist as Ziggy seems to think so.
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/techinfo...n/2000/Chat.asp
All sorts of interesting info saying that Ziggy (and through him, DMQ) know squat about IRCX...
And, from below, http://www.invlogic.com/irc/exten_02.html
Extensions to the Internet Relay Chat Protocol (IRCX)
2. Abstract
This document describes extensions to the Internet Relay chat protocol defined in RFC 1459[1]. The added functionality includes optional user authentication for multiple security providers, support for UNICODE[2] characters, multilayer security, a unified property mechanism, and support for tagged data messages. Chat server implementations can optionally support channel or server services with full control over all messages and events. These services communicate with the core server over an extended IRC connection. All changes to the IRC protocol are designed in a way that existing clients will continue to work against servers implementing the extensions. Support for the extended protocol can be queried by clients to take advantage of the added functionality or to conform to the basic protocol as defined in RFC 1459.
i dunno about being a magnet, but DMQ is definately stupid ! !
I hate ignorant people... people who think they're the only ones that can be right... people who dont accept the truth if it doesnt fit in with what they 'believe'... makes me laugh... hehe.
You're wrong though mike:P:D
wrong as she is, dmq is a child
Well... if she really is 17, shes the same age as me... There's a huge difference between us!
i thought she was only 14:shocked2:
Some are more mature then others...like many ppl have thought that i was like 25 or something when im really only 16...
Actually I was told DMQ was 17 too, which is my age and mike's
Yeah, but were you around when she aged 4 years in 72 hours?
lmao... she's weird I can give her that. My guess is that she's older then 14, I doubt many 14 year old could be on the comp as much as she's allowed to be. I may be wrong though but she does need to grow up. The thing that annoyed me was that she said you were wrong Scott, and that Ziggy was the "smart one" so he was right, clearly when she had no idea what the talk was about, and you can't defend someone when you don't even know what the discussion is about, she's just a person that never wants to listen to anyone and always has to get her own way, she's selfish.
who cares about her age ?
a tool is a tool is a tool !

Damn that was funny 😀
lol...Ziggy is immensely ignorant its hilarious, ive made a couple of notes about his previous and current site about Opera not displaying it propperly, and all he says is "Its a well knows fact Opera doesnt render the html propperly".....I said "Well im sure there is a hack to fix it".....If there was a problem with IE im sure he would fix it....*sigh* ignorance 🙁
