I for one am truly sick of it. I sometimes use the net to try and escape from it. But of recent times all I've been seeing is hatred everywhere I go. It saddens me and I'm beginning to think I have no where to turn for peace.
hatred is a pretty strong word. i doubt a lot of what is felt is really hatred, ppl, myself included, throw that word around a bit in the heat of moments
the net is made up of ppl, ppl think and feel, ppl get hurt and angry, ppl love and ppl hate
it happens all around you in your real life will happen here too
On the internet, hate is more common than anything else. There are more drama queens, jackasses, and psychopaths that align theirselves and their lives to the internet as though it were a cosmic force that has pulled them in forever. The internet is a place that seems like an experimental reality tv show. You throw as many idiots, jackasses, drama queens, and psychopaths into the same room - then you put in one or two 'nice people'.
The logic is belittling but factual as well. If you have an area that has a majority of negative people, the positive people will be repelled to get away; unless they're to the point where as they want to change things around [and actually attempt to]. Others just hop from one community to another, attempting to fix the negativity to something that's positive. Eventually, someone grows weary and tired of fixing everyone else's problems and nobody giving a damn about his own. Then he just vanishes for a month or so at a time and nobody cares; which is best anyways. Oh, sorry..started getting a bit personal there. Hehe ^_^;
In other words, hate is everywhere. But the Internet stores a place for people to vent their feelings without thinking it has any consequences. Mind games, Hate "Crimes" [lack of better term - maybe "Games"?], and other mindless indulgences of negativity reside on the Internet due to petty arguements and logic.
